In 2010 I pledged to achieve one random act of Joyousness every day and I did it! I learnt that bringing Joy to yourself and others is not as hard as it might sound. Once you have opened your eyes to see the Joy in your behaviour and others you start to appreciate the smallest things like sharing, listening and laughing and these actions begin to get the credit they deserve. Joyousness becomes apparent in what were previously mundane tasks and the positive outlook starts to prosper.

In 2011, instead of noting 1 Joyous Act per day I am going to adopt the quality not quantity mantra and undertake 12 Joyous Acts, one each month. My hope is to continue to look for and share joy and perhaps even inspire others to do the same. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any ideas for some exciting Joyous Acts in 2011.
